Feeders and Breeders
We periodically have both breeder and feeder piglets available for purchase. Please always contact us with any questions or to be put on our waiting list!
Feeders
Feeder piglets are non-registered purebred Idaho Pasture Pigs that do not meet breeding standards. They are castrated as males (called barrows) and left intact as females (called gilts). They will feed out to about 250-300 lbs at around 10 months when properly pastured and supplemented. They produce a well marbled, sweet red meat. Piglets are sold at weaning at 4-6 weeks old. We charge $150 per piglet for feeder piglets. We maintain a waiting list for feeder piglets. There is no charge to be put on our list. We generally have piglest 2x per year, spring and fall.
Breeders
Breeder piglets are purebred, registered Idaho Pasture Pigs who have met breed standards to become breeding stock. Pigs are weaned at 4-6 weeks and are sold as singles or unrelated pairs. They will be registered through the IPPR to the new owner upon purchase. These piglets are available for purchase for $400 each. We maintain a waiting list for all registered piglets. There is no charge to be put on our waiting list.
